Somehow we missed posting this! On March 30, WTNH-News (Channel 8) aired a “Working for Connecticut” segment on Best Video Film & Cultural Center.
WTNH cameraman Tom Parent came out to BVFCC and interviewed General Manager Richard Brown and Programing Director Hank Hoffman about how we have managed to keep going when most other video stores closed. Parent then shot extensive footage of our venue and edited it all together into this wonderful segment.
From the online post:
The explosion of streaming media turned local video stores into pop culture dinosaurs, except one.
One video store in Hamden continues to thrive by changing with the times.
Best Video and Cultural Center is an archive of over 30,000 movies. It has a cafe and a performance venue.
