Joe Flood, Frank Critelli, Ben Ross share bill Sat., Aug. 28

Singer-songwriter Joe Flood plays the Best Video Film & Cultural Center deck Sat., Aug. 28. He shares the bill with Frank Critelli and Ben Ross. The show starts at 5 PM.

Joe Flood has written and performed with some of the great names in American roots music including The Band, Blues Traveler, the Bottle Rockets, Pinetop Perkins, Dr. John, Eric Andersen, and the list goes on. His latest recording, “All Roads”, is set to be released October 17, 2021.

Frank Critelli writes and performs songs, talks on the radio, pours the beer, and does the dishes. But really, he’s just a gardener.

Hailing originally from Detroit where he played with and learned from some of the great blues masters, Ben Ross has been a local blues harp wizard for many years with such groups as the Blues Hounds and House of Moses.

ABOUT OUR SHOWS:

We ask respect for social distancing, please, and conscientiousness on masks. Not everybody is vaccinated yet and our venue wants to advise caution and consideration for others. Masks are optional outside but required if you go inside Best Video.

No cover charge but please bring cash for the musicians’ tip jar. This has been a real hard time for musicians, almost all of whom have seen their live performance income dry up. (There will also be a Best Video tip jar for donations.)

Parking available behind Best Video and on Thornton Street.
