Bella in performance.

Bella Ortiz-Wren (just Bella onstage, or “queen dweeb”) writes dreamy swoon-tunes about family, erasure, sweethearts and leg hair. Her songs bounce across different genres–they’re a mix of punky sass, jazzy flare, solo angst, folky moments and mellow delight. General vibe includes rich vocals, some distortion, and lots of reverb. Bella hails from Brattleboro, VT and is currently working on her next album, titled “Sour Honey.” When not playing music, she can be found making pottery at Marlboro College (or at work, slicing deli meat).
