Xavier Serrano is the lead singer and song writer for the progressive folk group Kindred Queer, who played Best Video Performance Space last year. He started writing material for KQ as Xavier Serrano in late 2011. Then found himself finding members Daniel Eugene, Quinn Pirie, Evan Cook, Adam Matlock and TJ Jackson to continue the pursuit of his writings collaborating with the group. Many have claimed the music to be a Progressive-Folk with a hint of rock elements to the material.
