On Fri., June 26, New Haven’s genre-bending folk-world-jazz stalwarts Dr. Caterwaul’s Cadre of Clairvoyant Claptraps take on the music they were perhaps always destined to play, as they will waltz, slide, and stomp their way through a full set of songs by the incomparable American songwriting treasure Tom Waits. With the full 5-piece lineup of Adam Matlock on accordion, Brian Slattery on violin and banjo, Chris Cretella on guitar, Mike Tepper on bass, and Michael Paolucci on drums, plus a possible guest or two.
